The award winning dress at The Savoy...

A few weeks ago I mentioned (in this post here) that I had been nominated for the European Women In Sales Awards...I was completely overwhelmed, I do my job to the absolute best of my ability and to be recognised for this, is incredible! 

With the excitement also came the inevitable dress hunt...The award ceremony was being hosted at The Savoy and the dress code, Black Tie (no pressure!!)!

It's times like these I avoid the 'standard' High Street haunts, the danger of rocking up in the same dress (even if it is styled differently) is a total head-between-the-knees thought for me meaning, I had to hunt down something a little more unique and not so mainstream. 

It won't surprise you to know that some serious research went into finding 'the one' and in a fairly standard move,  the first one I saw, was the one I invested in! I wasn't planning on skimping when investing in the perfect dress yet, couldn't help but notice how expensive (for so little) some of the dresses around were!?!

From the first time I spotted this & Other Stories dress, I knew...

A couple of clicks, a credit card number and BOOM, 2 days later the most perfect dress arrived.

The cut of this dress is so different and very flattering

I had an incredible night, the dress got a lot of love, I picked up the award for 'Most Active on Social Media' and only just missed out (by one pesky point) on the big award I was chasing after!!
