Date Night...

It was our wedding anniversary this week and typically, we didn't get to see each other due to work commitments so, in a rare, yet special moment, we went out together. Just us.

I knew exactly what I was going to wear as I'd picked up the tee and trousers last weekend (prior to previously mentioned June shopping ban which, may I add, is freaking me out now!!).

We dined at Steak of The Art in Bristol - It does exactly what it says on the tin…A.MAZING steak and the place is dripping with incredible art, right down to the eclectic decor and furniture. You can buy everything you see in there too… I was seconds off buying 6 new dining chairs, I kid you not ( you can see these on their website homepage!)

Back to the outfit… Black, my happy colour...

I have no idea why I look so orange here…

Oh yeah, I got new ombre hair at Nicky Clarke on Friday and I LOVE it!!

I bought these trousers in Next last weekend for £30… I have typed the code in their website and nothing comes up… I have searched ALL black trousers on the Next website and still, these don't come up??? Anyhoooo, they are a crepe type of material, harem cut and verrrry similar to these Joseph ones on Net-A-Porter.

The tee was also from Next last weekend. I love the sports luxe feel it has.. I'm wearing an 8, to be honest, I could have gone down to a 6 as it is fairly generous - Buy here.

The shoes were from Primark last summer… £12 and earning their place in the wardrobe, wear after wear.

I so nearly went colour popping on the bag and then decided to dust off the Michael Kors Selma for the occasion - sold out everywhere now I think.

Last up, the bangle was from Topshop last summer… I think it's the first time I've ever worn it! I love the embellishment and thought the white balanced the shoes out…

I hope you're all having a fab weekend x

  1. Understated but so chic Karen! Love the hair, I've had Balayage done, it's nice to go a bit lighter for the summer I think. Those shoes were such a buy, wish I had seen them at the time! X
