I guess I'm a little late to the Happy New Year party?
I'd hoped to be back to blogging/styling/shopping/work/general life by now alas, it appears that my brain is still not ready to fully function at the moment so here I am, back on sick leave, craving normality and going a little stir crazy!
This is a theraupic post... There's so much dropping in the shops right now, my phone is full of screenshots, most of which are on the wish list so, I thought I'd clear my phone memory share the love.
On that, there is a new section on my blog with monthly edits of my favourite pieces - you can find it in the menu. I add to this throughout the month too when new pieces make my heart flutter.
The first pieces to shout about are those that are already settling in to the walk-in. I hope to work on another post with all those things I have waiting in online baskets all over the WWW.
Shoes... These off white (Ecru, if you like) flats are 100% leather and incredibly comfy. The fit is generous so i went down a size. Worn here with my little photo-bomber (she wanted in!). I foresee a lot of wear out of these in Spring as something different to the trainers I currently live in.
Worn with a blazer from Next (which is last season) but, I've linked one really similar thats in the shops now.. You can wear this smart or, I have worn with a slogan tee or even a hoody.
The jeans are recent too and my new go-to jeans. They are high waisted (hides all the sins), fit just perfectly and, come in several leg lengths (winning!). These ones are a 30 leg (which I am not) but, fit as an ankle cut.
The bag was a last season buy and sold out really quick however, on a recent trip to the shops, i spotted this one which would be the one i'd buy if I didn't have this one.
The second pair of shoes were picked up yesterday... Our eyes met across a crowded store and I fully expected a huge price tag... Nah, just under £20!!! These ones are benched until 1) i've had a pedi and 2) the tempreture picks up but still, I predict a sell out so wasn't leaving without them.
Blazers...Another purchase has been this blazer... Blazers are still huge going into SS and, although not toddler proof, it's so beautiful that I'm prepared to face the dry clean bill. I'm wearing a size 6 (which I am not) as my petite frame can't handle the over-over-sized trend, I look like i've fallen in the dressing up box.
Worn here with those high waisted jeans, a new tee from H&M (which I can't find online but it's new), a black lace cami from my absolute favourite lingerie brand, Wacoal, my Saint Laurent sneaks (high street version linked here) and the old Gucci bamboo bag.
I've linked some more amazing blazers that are similar to what I already have (but oh-so different so probably will end up with new) below. Again, wear now with layers under or a huge coat over the top.
