Give It Some Shoulder...

It's likely that my shoulders are one of my best features right now (true story) - everything else is either swollen/can't be found/unrecognisable as a body part!

Me and this top have history - I ordered it back at Christmas in it's first drop,  I had it in the black and navy colour ways and then, in a moment of  early pregnancy unknown -ness ("who knows what size I'll be soon"),  returned both.

It's actually third time lucky for this top as I had it on again in a Topshop changing room just last week. I stepped out to show the bestie and had some (skinny/spotty teenagers') by standing mum gave me the biggest disapproving look - No matter what the bestie had said, the cutting look of unsuitable-ness went deep and I walked away.

Well, IN YOUR FACE DISAPPROVER, I ordered it later that night and I LOVE it!!
This top isn't 'maternity' (clearly) but you know what, it fits (kinda) and I'll wear it to death once Baby G rocks up as it'll be hiding the mummy tummy. Thinking about it, at least with no fabric on the shoulders, the baby sick should just wipe straight off the skin...

I am happy, I promise!

Smug happy (no make up) face when I tried it on at home.

The top is fairly generous on sizing, I'm wearing a size 10. It's got so much wear ability - jeans and heels/shorts and sandals/pleated skirt and Stans.

My favourite Whistles black cami - Buy here.
The BEST maternity/nursing bra ever (it's super pretty too) - Buy here.
Topshop Unique heels - last season.
Mulberry Cecily Bag - Similar here

There's also a stunning dress version of this in blue - It hated me and the bump, but that's OK - You can buy it here.

The moral of the story... You are not limited to maternity wear only if you're sporting a bump.
