A Week In Paradise...Part 3.

I can't believe that this was a week ago...

When you lie by the infinity pool at Daios Cove, you can't help but watch the ocean. The private bay hosted the cold waters of the Med where there was plenty of water sports and catamaran action.

I have a huge fear of the sea...Actually, not the sea itself, more the creatures that live in it so, when (under Mojito influence) I announced that I'd give paddle-boarding a bash, the sober me very nearly bailed.

I'm.So.Glad.I.Didn't.

I absolutely loved it!!

Here we are, the last instalment of my holiday outfit posts...This feels like I'm kissing my holiday goodbye *sad/fading tan face*

In the main, the outfits left to share with you are those worn for dinner/drinks and also some hardworking pieces that found their way into the case too.

Red...

The red cami is new, picked up in a panic buying frenzy in Selfridges from Topshop Unique - buy here or the cheaper (and machine washable version) here.

The red skirt is a couple of years old from Florence and Fred - buy similar here.

The sandals have turned out to be my trusty holiday footwear - nude, strappy and go with everything - buy here in nude and here in black.

The clutch was procured from Zara just days before take off. I'd spotted this online but never instore and then, just as they were prepping for the sale, there it was, all lonely on a shelf way over my eyeline - buy similar here.

Paisley...

Another last minute buy...I wasn't sure about this dress at first, probably because I don't really do patterns but at £29.99 (pre-sale) I took the hit. I added an old tan belt as the dress just kinda' hung without it and didn't do my petite frame any favours.

The dress isn't online now (you could try in store), if not, this one is similar and perfect for holidays (and this amazing weather).

Wearing them shoes again.

The bag is an old Michael Kors should bag with the straps folded in to the bag - I have a lot of love for this one if you're looking for something similar. Classics are worth spending a little more for and it's not a bank breaker.

Over Sized...

I don't like wearing clothes that cling to me, especially when I'm away in heat (and surrounded by endless food and drink), so I bought these Zara shorts in a medium. They are comfortably lose, which keeps them casj (ish). These also went in to the sale and I can't find online however, I've spotted some very similar today in the sale in Warehouse for £15 (in the sale), no link I'm afraid.

The shirt is another old buy from H&M - similar classic buy here.

Clutch and sandals as before.

Mono...

The skirt and tee are both from Zara and in the sale so go get 'em. The tee was a good purchase as it's already been on several times..Another classic. Buy similar here. I've found a good alternative to the skirt here too (and it's in the sale).

The sandals are one of my favourite recent buys (and already sold out), similar here in the sale.

Beach Days...

Remember the H&M shirt dress that I wore over jeans? It worked for a beach cover up too. Buy similar here and here.

The bikini was new from Topshop - the perfect bandeau that's gone in to sale and no longer online.

The necklace is old, a purchase from our honeymoon.

Night to Day Kaftan...

Another H&M buy...The black kaftan worn for drinks one night and then for the pool after that - minus the accessories and heels.

This has disappeared online however, in a sweep of the shops today, I've seen a good alternative in
the sale - here.

Leaf earrings - similar here.

Black sandals - similar here.

Daios Cove is a beautiful, well thought out resort with breathtaking views, quirky artist features and an incredible staff - I can't recommend it enough.

Villa with a view..

Some of the art featured in the lobby..

Table legs...

There are loads of bloggers out there doing 'What's in my case' features..All I can say is that I plan - I try to keep to the necessary items and a few spare for luck. I always take too many accessories in a pledge to myself to mix things up...In the main, these remained unworn for another season but, I had the choice. I look at my current wardrobe and take with me items that can be styled for holidays, then add to it with new pieces that can be worn again after the tan has faded and normal life has resumed.

My posts will be back to normal this weekend with a POTW feature and then next week some of my sale buys and back to work purchases...

Have a fab weekend.
