Piece Of The Week...The ASOS A-Line Denim Skirt

This ASOS A-Line denim skirt has been a long time in the finding! 

I've trawled/hauled/tried on so many denim skirts it's borderline vulgar...The problem being is that those with the button down fronts just didn't sit well on me, the fabric gathered, the holes gaped (no one needs to see that), let alone me constantly readjusting the shape.

This A-Line skirt is without doubt, gonna' play a huge part in my summer wardrobe and yesterday, in it's maiden voyage, it did not fail me.

I'm wearing a size 10 as I didn't want it too clingy which in turn, would knock the shape of the line out if it was.

The sandals are very old (well, 2 summers) however, the good news is is that these ones are very close and available in various colours too

In other news, those of you that follow me on Instagram will know that this weekend was the a big one - the weekend we completed on our new holiday cottage in Cornwall!! 

We've been working hard to secure the place that at times, looked so doubtful and now we are making it cosy/beachy/haven-esque for our first guests next month. I have no doubt that any spare time I have will be consumed with all items that feature a boat/lighthouse/beach hut and many a soft furnishing but, I couldn't be happier. This has definitely been a 'pinch me' weekend.
