In The Navy...

Thank the weather for today's outfit... The halter neck top found it's way into the walk-in a couple of weeks ago and has shuddered at the thought of recent outings...Too parky!

Since it's arrival, it was destined to pair up with these navy belted crepe peg leg trousers that although have seen the light of day on several occasions, haven't featured on here yet.

I love the halter cut of this top, it's so flattering and in true 'halter' form, doesn't make me look like an Olympic swimmer and what's more, is just less than £15!!!

The top is also available in white, a lemony colour and green.

I'm wearing a XS as it's fairly generously cut - Buy the top here.

The trousers are still available here and are perfect for dressing down for summer or getting some corporate wear out of too.

The denim jacket is that very old French Connection one (circa 10-12 years) - similar here.

The bag has only seen the light several times since I picked it up in the & Other Stories sale at Christmas - similar here.

The sandals are also some old favourites - very similar here.

For me, wearing one colour is slimming and lengthening (one needs a lot of support in this area), I feel like I'm giving off the boiler suit vibe without looking like I fell in dressing up box.

What do you think? Have you got a hero top that you are loving?

Don't forget you can find me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.
