Destination Spring/Summer '15

The Cribbs Causeway Fashion Week Show is a regular in the seasonal fashion diary so, I was beyond honoured to be asked to come along early for an interview to share my thoughts on the new seasons trends... Excited and knee-knockingly nervous at the same time.

That's a wrap!

The show was just that...Not your standard strutters floating down the catwalk.. No, a mixed variety of models of all ages, showcasing the accessible trends that are available at Cribbs. They raised the roof with dance, music and some incredible styling.

The notable key trends were;

Mono...Easy for us all!
Denim...I'm obsessing and drowning in it!
Utility...AKA, my sabbatical wardrobe!
70's Boho...I'm lusting after this and as soon as it warms up, you won't recognise me without an A-Line skirt!

The show was hosted by Mark Heyes and Lucy Watson of MIC fame.

A few of my favourite looks for a bit of inspo...

The Topshop denim shirt dress worn over jeans ticks the double denim trend and utility - similar here and here

Khaki, yellow and gold from Topshop - I love this! Buy the bomber jacket here, cropped yellow tank here and tailored joggers here

 Sports luxe loving - Joggers are from the M&S Best of British range, available here.

What I wore...;

Leather look trousers from H&M (that very morning) - invest here.
Khaki shirt from H&M - similar here.
Mac Ruby Woo - buy here.
Valentino Rockstuds - buy here.
Gucci Disco Bag - buy similar here.

Aftershow...

After the show, Marks and Spencer hosted an event for us bloggers to showcase their SS15 range...Most of it was no surprise to me as I'd trawled that very morning and was exceptionally impressed!! True to form, I left with a shopping bag!

M&S spread
There were rails a plenty in M&S to have a sift through...Here's a few pieces that I loved!

Everyone needs a pale blue chambray shirt in their wardrobe, mine is one of the most hardworking pieces I have! Get this one here.

I LOVE this suede effect A-Line skirt (half shown at the front)...It's knee length and light weight so perfect for now and the summer. It's verrrrrry reasonable too and a must for the wardrobe! I can't find it online at the moment but there were loads in store.

70's tones and styles for mix and matching!

I love this look, perfect colour combo, non? Get the Mac here , the floral peasant blouse here and the skirt (with the most amazing side split) here. I really like all of these pieces in their own right too.. The top would work with indigo flares, an A-Line denim skirt or white jeans too. The Mac speaks for itself, I live in mine!

Bristol Fashion Week is running this week until Sunday - If you're in the area, click here to see more details and get a free pamper too!!

The new buy will feature on Mission;Style this weekend...I'm so excited about my purchase, they have taken me some time to find.
