It Always Starts With Shoes...

For me, every outfit starts with the shoe - the choice of how practical it needs to be fights the heel height and overall look.


It's no secret that I've been a lover of NEXT footwear over the seasons - always amazing value and perfectly on-trend. You can only imagine my delight when I was invited to the launch of their new AW collection a couple of weeks ago.

The absolute icing on the cake was that I got to choose a pair from the new collection to wear to the event, the decision was tough. 

For practical reasons, I went for the flat navy loafers (I barely recognise myself). These are so so comfy and instantly transform quite a classic outfit into a trend led look.

The NEXT shoe event was held at the very chic, bricked arches show space in Shoreditch...We were showered with cocktails and very fancy canapes (not a cheese n' pineapple stick in sight!).
