Absence Makes The Heart Grow Fonder...?

Whooooow,  STOP! 

These boots though.

If you follow more than one fashion blog, then I can pretty much guarantee that you've seen these boots already. The thing is, I spotted them back in late July/early August...Loved them..thought I'd *wait (*read fear of peaking too early on Autumnal buys) and then, when ready to exchange my Amex details for boots, they'd SOLD THE HELL OUT. 

The usual 'refresh page' tactic failed me for so many weeks that I had given up hope. 

Thank the Lord for the long awaited restock! There they were yesterday, in store, all shiny, sizes a plenty and right up in my grill. One quick 'better-make-sure-I've-not-bigged-them-up-in-my-head-now' try on and they were a confirmed buy! 

What else... Oh yeah, so if you follow me on Instagram, you'll know that I've been a bit poorly over the last few weeks...so much so that I took residence in the local hospital on a couple of occasions for a few nights.

I'm pleased to report that I'm on the mend, albeit verrrrrrry slowly so when the first chance came yesterday to leave the house and get me some touchy-feely-proper-shops action, I (slowly) lept at the chance.

It turns out PG had the most successful haul of the day however, I still came out with all of the above and this new super floaty blouse.
