Winter Wedding...

It's no secret I love shopping and God knows, I've done my fair share of that lately… The catalyst; Yesterday's  Remembrance Sunday's wedding...

I exhausted so many routes trying to find the one when it came to the dress, my phone was bursting with screenshots of possible outfits when finally, I found this one last minute…(literally).

Talking of last minute… The shoes were also procured just hours before the "I Do's".

I needed; Simple, classic, comfy and sexy (I consider myself mid-maintenance of course) and these ones were perfect! You may recall I'd previously hauled from Rupert Sanderson at Bicester Village so it only seemed right that I invested in my feet  again with these ones…They are timeless classics and every girl should own at least one pair of shoes that makes you feel like you own the world.

As a side note, I still can't rate the service at Rupert Sanderson highly enough… Nothing is too much trouble…I felt like a proper princess and that my Darlings, is worth it!

Unintentionally, I have reverted to my standard 60's default look… I find it too easy to do, I was totally born in the wrong era!

Noted that for a 'winter wedding' we were blessed with ridiculously mild weather… hence the brief bare arms!

I love the back detail of this dress.

Buy the look…

The wedding was perfect start to finish… Perfectly planned, styled and executed with love whilst, remembering the fallen with great respect!

What do you wear for winter weddings? I have another one in a few weeks and the search starts again… (NOW!) so I'm open to suggestions…
