Great Plains...

Fun fact: When I was 13 I used my first wage (pretty sure £1.50 per hour was below the minimum even back then!) to buy my first outfit. It was from Great Plains. I bought some beige knee length shorts and a navy polo shirt - The classics.

Fast forward XX years and Great Plains get in touch to ask if I'd like to choose some pieces from their current Summer collection *excited dance*.

I scrolled for hours.. For me, as a gift, they needed to be investment pieces that I'd wear over and again.

The Black Dress

A Summer staple in my books. Bardot, floaty and doesn't need ironing (I'm so low maintenance).

It's easy to wear and in the last week, has been on twice, with a planned appearance coming later this month on a girls weekender to Marbs.

The Marbs weekend is a hand-luggage-only affair (*gasps) which means that this dress is going to have to work hard. One evening and then a couple of lunches/beach cover-ups.

The Navy Knit

It may be Summer but you know, it's unpredictable.. I'm wearing this as I type (post Nursery drop-off) and it's also coming to Marbs! Again, really good for dressing up or down. It's Merino wool, has 3/4 length sleeves and the V is deep enough to wear slightly off the shoulder too.

A Classic White Shirt

Again, another hard working piece that has been chucked on with jeans buy is ear marked to work with my skinny leather jeans and heels/denim shorts and sandals.

The Great Plains sale is on and worth checking out as there are some incredible bargains to pick up.

These items were gifted to me, all words are my own and this isn't a scripted post.

Thanks for reading.

Oh and whilst I'm here, I wanted today a HUGE THANKS to everyone that follows and supports me over on Instagram!! Last week I hit the 10k followers mark!!

Have a fab weekend!
