Winter Sun...

Happy New Year... A little late but still, I hope you are all having a good 2017 so far! 

My '17 got off to a good start as we jetted off to Tenerife for *some (*not as much as one would like) winter sun.

We stayed at Baobab Suites in Costa Adeje, it was a bit sentimental for us as we were there this time last year for our Babymoon - to be able to take Olivia back was surreal/incredible...even a bit emosh!

Anyhooooo, packing for sun when the temperature here is teetering around zero was hard (first world probz, eh?)... That and the fact that my summer clothes last year consisted of anything stretchy! 

We had to pack really light (even with the last minute panic buy of 15kg additional baggage allowance), this in itself was alien! 

So here they are, some of the winter sun outfits I managed to chuck together...

I don't suit jumpsuits, I'm too short in the body (read everywhere) but, give me elasticated trews and a top and I'm happy! First night and I was gagging to wear this one shoulder/arm top. Worn with some really old black jogger trousers and the new "fancy flip flops" (my mums description).

If you know Costa Adeje, you'll know that you can walk the coastline for miles... We did that, a lot!

Life with a 6 month old baby means that the days of holiday reading by the pool is fairly limited/none existent. That said, I managed to cram this very inspiring book during the week and can highly recommend if you are a creative/wanting to up your Insta-game. Buy here.

Beach hair, don't care. Another star print shirt...Too much of a good thing? The shirt was from Zara last summer and the denim skirt, a buy to fit me this year. I pretty much lived in this skirt during the day - buy similar here.

It wouldn't be a holiday if I didn't buy a couple of new pieces in their well stocked Mango and Zara... This dress is easssssssy! The perfect chuck on with the "fancy flip flops" and, it ticks the tie sleeve trend (be mindful of soup, coffee, 6 month old babes). Buy the dress here.

That's me for today...Me and more new clothes than I'd realised, are now officially in 2017 and I'm ready to make it as fabulous as 2015...We don't talk about 2016, do we?
